Here's a quick update.  I decided that my grand daughter's chair need bigger legs and a matching cute as a button ottoman.  Here is the final finished piece.  Whata ya think?

Last week I started working on a wingback chair for my grandbaby Milani.  A month ago I had made a chair for my house when she is by watching her shows.

Now I needed to make a chair for her house.  Since her mother's decor is more girly, I decided to venture out and make a wingback chair.  After a lot of cutting and re-cutting, I got the frame exactly how I wanted it.

All that was left next was choosing a vibrant girly pattern to match her mother's living room and upholstering the chair.  The front legs of the chair I actually made from candlestick holder from Hobby Lobby.  Milani is in love with this chair, but not as much as her mother.

Milani's Kitchen

I wanted to make my grand daughter a play kitchen for Christmas. After many hours on Pinterest, I had decided I was going to change a wood media center into a play kitchen. I changed my mind when I stood at many thirft stores starring at these huge 1990's media centers, thinking....how am I going to get that into my Subaru Outback. I then decided that maybe I will make one from scratch. I began researching the best way to go about this, when one day at the thirft store I saw this.

After some elbow grease cleaning and some design creativity, the finish set was better than what I had imagined.  The best part of it all is that Milani loved it!  Score for grandma!
